Siriporn Wajjwalku is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. She received a BA in Political Science from Thammasat University and an MA and PhD from Nagoya University, Japan. Her study focuses on Japan’s foreign policy, international development and regional cooperation. The recent publications include “Japan: Politics and Political Institutions” (2014) and “Institutional Arrangement and Aid Effectiveness: Japan’s Aid Provision to Mekong Countries” (2015). She was the former Dean of Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University (February 2010 – January 2013). Currently, she is the President of the Japanese Studies Association of Thailand, as well as the acting Dean of the School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Laung University, Chiang Rai, Thailand.
