Yulius Purwadi Hermawan is a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations, Parahyangan Catholic University, Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, an MA in Politics with a concentration in East Asian Studies from Monash University, Australia and a PhD from Leeds University, UK. His major research interests are Indonesia and the G-20 process, global governance, and ASEAN integration. His current research is about the South–South and Triangular Cooperation Model and the role of Indonesia as an emerging partner in international development cooperation. Dr. Hermawan’s most recent publications include Indonesia’s Accountability to the G20 (Jakarta, Ministry of Finance, 2013) and Indonesia in International Institutions: Living Up to Ideals (National Security College Issue Brief, Canberra: ANU, May 2014).
